we was walking through the trees looking for the air thing when the posh man started picking up bits from the wreck of the big ship. i don’t know why he needed to do that when he says he’s so rich anyway. claims it’s for other people, not him. yeah right. i was worried something very bad was gonna happen so i shooed people along. the scary lady agreed with me, she has good sense.

all of sudden we heard stormy weather noises. then we saw a big swirly whirl wind thing. before i could do anything the scary lady ran ahead and was knocked by it. i think the shock of seeing her knocked back by the windy air thing kept me stuck on the spot as everyone around me started attacking it. finally i did some magics and drew my sword and gave it a good hard smack. i think i damaged it but it fought back and… well… i don’t usually admit to this… but it did hurt a bit. then someone threw some stuff in it which made my ears go funny but it made the whirly air thing go away so that was good.

when we got to the camp area the pretty elf lady was there. i watched while she slept. she is very pretty. i like her. i lay down next to her and got some sleep too. i was ready to protect her though. i will always protect her.

it was weird when we woke up, the trees had moved. don’t understand it.

we are now at a village made of logs. i like logs.

so then he started hurting the scary lady with the chain and I reckoned it was time to help out so I hit ‘im with my sword, its really big and it hurt him a lot. then he was on the floor bleeding so I gave him a death honourable in combat, probably more than he deserved but he was a fierce warrior and I gots to respec’ that

I heard more fighting from outside so I used my magics to jump out the ship and then everything went red and it was time for somebody else to die but they was using arrows and hidin’ like cowards and I went down, happy to be dying in battle

a few seconds later I felt a warming drink in my mouth and my strength came back and it was time to fight again but now they was all dead and I was feelin’ tired

we looked at all the ones we killed and collected the spoils of battle and everyone give me things to drink and I felt better

the little gnome git that shot me told us why he was being chased cuz he stole some stuff for some guy and I was bored listenin’ but I wanted to scare him cuz he nearly got me killed today so I took what he took and I kept it

then we walked more and we found more of the ship and the pretty elf lady got her book and her staff and her backpack and her neggle-iggle and everythin’ back and we found a big metal thing that the guy what talks to trees liked the look of. we also found some cargo what the rest of them said was theirs so I helped ‘em take it all back to the camp

when we got back to the camp we was shouted at by an impressive looking model of the lord of the forest and he told us we had to kill an air spirit and then get out, so we’re gonna go do that now so I’m gonna stop writing for a bit

instead we went where stinky elf man told us there was some people who was also on the ship and i found the captain there. she didn’t have no money to pay me but she give me a letter that would get me money later. then i slept. then i got up and we went to find more bits of ship so pretty elf lady can get her book back.

we walked and we got surprised by an elf in a tree. he looks shifty. we walked a bit more and found the bit of ship. pretty elf lady said it was the wrong bit but the others all started to try to climb it so i had to show them all how to do it. then we found the scaredy gnome that fighter lady was spending so much time with when the ship didn’t crash and he tried to shoot me so i shouted at him then sneaky elf man said we should hide him so i dropped him in a hole and we told the shifty elf man that we killed the one that shot at me and i found a body. except the body was a bit too much dead and i don’t think shifty elf man thinks she did it…

wait, need to write about that bit first!

we got rid of the rat man at the last place we stopped and the captain told me and some others to go see her in the garden. she wanted to say well done and she give me a medal! i put it on my sash. then some stinky elf man came and give the captain a letter then it all went wrong.

the ship started wobbling and turning on its head and people was all falling off and landing in the trees. it didn’t look like fun so i held on tight. i suddenly noticed i was the only one left holding on and the mountains was getting awful big so i did the clever thing and jumped off! i got magics though and i landed slowly. saw a lot of people who didn’t have magics though, helped the ones i could and felt bad for the ones i couldn’t. it not honourable to die like this.

when everyone was all back on their feet the pretty elf lady started shouting about some book or somethin’, then i realised that all my stuff was still in my room. also needed to make sure captain was alright, she the only one who can sign my chitty for my work money!

we started walking the same way the ship was crashing to try to find it. found a cliff instead. the others were all worried about getting down it but i just wanted to jump. no one listens to me. they all climbed down, nearly didn’t all climb down though. then i jumped. had to carry stinky elf man stinky dog. he funny though so it ok that he stinky. the man not the dog. the dog just stinky.

we did more walking, it was boring, then we got attacked by a bear so i fought it. that wasn’t boring. the stupid bear managed to hit me once though, stinky elf man touched me and i felt better and stopped bleeding. then we got rushed by badgers. they too small to fight prop’ly so i didn’t bother and they carried on running. pretty elf lady got knocked over though.

then we found a bit of the ship. lucky it was the right bit and i saw that my room would be in it so i went inside. fell through stupid floor and got hit by stupid air spirit. so i climbed out the hole and fell in again. then the man that talked to the trees helped me out so i went back in without falling this time.

found my room and got my stuff and now i got it all and its mine. the others were happy for killing the air spirits and i honour them for their victory.

now we must go on and get pretty elf ladys things cuz she helped me get my things and i carry no debt to nobody so i will help her.

i give up on her and went to the bar to get a drink after doin’ work and suddenly my friend tuin is ringing the alarm. i guard the door like he says and when fergus and munro get in tuin makes them try to arrest me!

i never done nuthin’ wrong so i pushed ‘em back and told ‘em to bring the captin. after a minute the captin turned up anyway and stopped ‘em from picking on me but then she told me ‘go to brig sefu’. i didn’t wanna go but you gotta do what the captin says or you don’t get your money.

so now i’m stuck here waiting to find out what goin’ on and why the minstrel girl is saying bad things ’bout sefu.

got a job today. am doing more guard work on one of dem big airships the zebranaut it’s called, or somethin’. get food once a day every day. get sleep once a day every day. get a purple sash. i likes purple.

Last Night

airship stopped in al-something, always al-something. new passengers got on. started trying to get past me to the pointy bit at the front, the p-r-o-w. i stopped ‘em though, nobody gets past sefu! little human with a bow kept trying for ages kept saying he was king of world or something.

went to the bar with the new passengers when i finished. can’t seem to get rid of them but they bad at dice and i won loads of money off ‘em. hur hur hur. pretty elf lady came into common bar and invited the new passengers up to first class and they let me come! never been upstairs before, they got posher guards than me.

the lords and ladies started playing cards but i didn’t want to, they wasn’t playing for coppers. i noticed that dealer was stacking his deck and cheating, hur hur hur. they was getting ripped off and they didn’t see it. captain heard me say something and she told the little rat-man to do it again but he got upset and went away. captain told me to wait outside when i offered to show the man my sword. i got a big sword.

i thought captain was gonna tell me off but she told me i done good and i should keep eye on rat-man but i wasn’t to show him my sword anymore. think it is time to sleep now, gonna find my hammock.
